I am writing this journal entry by chance. I performed a search on google for my nickname and this journal popped up so I decided to visit. Then I decided to post this entry.

Lately, I haven't been creating a lot of images. In the past I'd create one or two images to use as a background for my smartphones every day. Now I create about two a week. Why? I wish I knew.

I thoroughly enjoy being creative and I like looking at my own wallpaper. Although I call them backgrounds instead of wallpaper. But you didn't need to know that. Did you?

At any rate, I'm going to download the Deviantart Android app and get busy again. It'll be like old times :-)

Creating Wallpapers Again

I didn't create any wallpapers for a few months. I just stopped being creative. Why that happens to some people I don't know.

The pic below was created a few days ago. Today I smiled as I began creating an image and it made me realize I missed creating content.

I think I'm going to begin posting images on one of my blogs. I may as well begin posting online so I can have a central location to search for certain wallpapers I like using on my phones.

Two days ago I completed an image I liked a lot and I wanted to use it on a new Moto G smartphone I'd just purchased. It made me think about using one place to store/post my content.

So here we are. Thanks for coming by. You're awesome.

Stuck on Blue

1 min read

I've been creating smartphone backgrounds for more than two years and I haven't changed the color of most of my work. I like the color blue so that's what Ive been using because it is not too bright and not too black.

It's just right. But how right is right when it's all you choose?

The images I create are mainly for personal use on my smartphones. I enjoy being creative so it's not a chore to create content. Sometimes I can work for a couple of hours that seem like only minutes. I think it's great to be able to get lost that way.

At any rate, I don't think I'll be changing anything any time soon. Thanks for listening.

I came here to upload a smartphone background then decided to post a note on this journal. I haven't been creating art like I used to in the past. I don't know why.

Maybe I'm bored because I'm creating the same things over and over. I seem to be stuck on the color blue. Most of the stuff I create is blue. I create html pages to read online and those are blue too. The web pages contain different shades of blue, but blue, none-the-less.

There are a lot of images of mine online and I'm thinking of organizing all the content to post on another blog. Some of it actually good. I play the numbers game. I simply create stuff knowing that sooner or later something decent will pop up.

When I began using the DeviantArt platform I was new to digital art. I'd never created art in the past because I don't know how to draw.

When I learned that we can create other forms of art on a smartphone, I quickly became interested. That's when I joined the DA platform.

After about a year of creating images then uploading to this site, I learned how to create GIF images.

I was like a kid in a candy store. I wanted more and more! Then I tried uploading one of my GIFs to DA, and was shocked to learn I couldn't upload GIF images here.

That's when I began using this app less and less. Hmm...
